Shoot at Zavod from as little as £60! The hire fee includes access to the main studio, communal areas, WiFi, refreshments and easy-to-use equipment. Add full lighting assistance for £15 per hour. View our full pricelist here.

At Zavod, we focus on making every session smooth, creative, and professional. Whether you’re hiring our space or working with our resident photographer, it’s not just what we do—it’s how we do it that sets us apart.

The answer is YES! Just remember that this is a shared space with other businesses in the building, so we cannot guarantee access to any specific areas. We will only be taking bookings up to fashion in the communal areas and we suggest bringing your own battery-powered equipment.

There is free on-street parking outside Eagle Works on Stevenson Road (where we are based). If there are no spaces available, there are plenty of other free spots on the adjoining streets.

If you need to unload equipment, there is a loading bay available to pick up and drop off items, however parking is not permitted in this area. Please note that the loading bay can only be made available if you notify us in advance.

Zavod Studio is 10 mins walk from yellow route Attercliffe tramstop. There are also plenty of bus stops around us, such as 9, 9a, 52, 52a, 207 and X3.

For studio bookings, we require the payment in full upfront, which is non-refundable. If you need to reschedule, we will accommodate one change free of charge, provided you notify us at least 48 hours before the scheduled booking time. Any changes requested after this time will require a new booking.

For shoot packages, a non-refundable deposit of 50% is required to confirm your booking. If you need to reschedule your shoot to a different date, a new deposit will be required.

In circumstances where we are able to find a last-minute replacement, we may be able to offer to rearrange to another date for free.

Any damage caused to the building or studio property will be charged directly to that individual or company. Remember, there is always assistance available on site, and we are happy to change the backdrops and set/adjust the lighting for you to prevent the risk of any damage.

There is a unisex toilet across the hallway and another unisex toilet on the ground floor. We share these facilities with other businesses at Eagle Works.

Zavod studio is located on the first floor of an old factory that was built around 1950. Unfortunately, due to the nature of the building, there is no wheelchair access.

We welcome supervised children and well-behaved animals at Zavod. However, due to the industrial nature of the building, it is not the safest environment for exploring unattended. All responsibility will remain with whoever books the studio.

In case of emergency where we can no longer host your visit you will be refunded in full and we will look to rearrange your booking for an alternative date.
